Observation of Teaching and Learning (OTL)
Every tutor should be observed every two years.
If a tutor has received a Grade 3 or below, they should be supported to improve, and re-observed after six months.
What is Observation of Teaching and Learning?
Alison Sutton (Curriculum leader for Health & Fitness) talks to John Dilks, Head of Quality and Curriculum Development, about what he is looking for when observing tutors.
